Unlock potential. Unleash performance.

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People® is one of the most influential frameworks for personal effectiveness and leadership. Based on the principles of Stephen R. Covey, it helps you make better choices, focus on what matters most, and build stronger relationships at work and in life.

That matters even more now. Work is faster, fuller, and more distracting than ever. Most people do not need more information. They need a better way to think, decide, and act. The 7 Habits gives you that framework.

Introducing The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People

What is The 7 Habits?

The 7 Habits is a practical framework for lasting personal and professional effectiveness. Not a set of tips to try and forget, but a connected system of habits that change how you make decisions, manage your time, and work with others.

Over two days, you will learn how to:

  • Take responsibility for your choices and stop reacting to everything around you
  • Get clear on what success looks like for you, so your decisions actually point somewhere
  • Focus your time and energy on what matters most, even when urgent things compete for it
  • Listen in a way that actually builds trust and changes the quality of your conversations
  • Find outcomes that work for everyone, not just yourself
  • Protect your energy so the habits you build have a real chance of sticking

The Maturity Continuum®

Each habit is grounded in timeless principles of effectiveness and follows a clear progression: from dependence, to independence, to interdependence.

Private Victory® | Habits 1 to 3

You start with yourself. These habits help you take ownership, set direction, and focus your time and energy on what matters most.

Public Victory® | Habits 4 to 6

Then the focus shifts to working with others. You build trust, improve communication, and learn how to create better outcomes together.

Renewal | Habit 7

Lasting effectiveness requires renewal. Habit 7 helps you protect your energy, keep learning, and sustain the other habits over time.

The 7 Habits at a glance

Habit 1: Be Proactive®

You can’t control everything that happens to you. You can control how you respond. This habit shifts your focus to what you can actually influence, and frees up enormous energy in the process.

Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind®

Effectiveness starts with knowing where you’re going. This habit helps you define what success looks like for you, so your daily choices are actually pointed in the right direction.

Habit 3: Put First Things First®

Urgency and importance are not the same thing. This habit gives you a system for protecting your time for the work that matters most, even when everything else is demanding your attention.

Habit 4: Think Win-Win®

Most people default to competing or compromising. Win-Win is a different approach: looking for solutions that genuinely work for everyone, which builds the kind of trust that makes long-term collaboration possible.

Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood®

Most people listen to reply, not to understand. This habit changes that. When people feel genuinely heard, everything else, including the difficult conversations, goes better.

Habit 6: Synergize®

People who truly collaborate almost always find a third option better than either of their originals. This habit shows you how to use different perspectives as a creative resource rather than a source of conflict.

Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw®

All six habits depend on this one. Your physical, mental, and emotional capacity is the engine behind everything else. Habit 7 is about protecting it, not as a luxury, but as a condition for sustained effectiveness.

What to expect

This is a practical, hands-on workshop. You will not just hear about the habits. You will work through them with exercises, small-group discussions, and reflection rooted in situations you are actually dealing with. The two days are structured, but never passive.

Before the programme

  • Complete a 360-degree assessment that gives you a personal effectiveness profile across all 7 Habits.
  • Gain a clear picture of your strengths and the specific areas where the habits can make the biggest difference for you.
  • Define your personal development focus so you arrive with a real starting point, not a blank slate.

During the programme

  • Explore all 7 Habits in depth over two structured days, with Day 1 focused on Private Victory and Day 2 on Public Victory and Renewal.
  • Learn through reflection, discussion, and practical exercises that connect the habits to real challenges in your work and life.
  • Apply the habits to situations you bring from your own context, not made-up case studies.
  • Build a clear understanding of how your current choices, priorities, and relationships are shaped by your habits, and what you want to change.

What you receive

  • Participant Guidebook: a beautiful, 170-page workbook filled with examples and exercises designed to help you learn and apply the habits during the workshop and long after it.
  • Practice Cards and Summary Poster: practical tools to help you keep practising and applying the habits in daily work. Useful when you need a quick reminder of what you have learned without digging out the full workbook.
  • Certificate of participation: a FranklinCovey certificate upon completion of the programme, which you can share on LinkedIn or use for professional development records.
