For what purposes does FranklinCovey Benelux collect and process Personal Data?
FranklinCovey Benelux collects and processes Personal Data for the following purposes:
- Facilitation of training courses and workshops, events, coaching, and presentations;
- To provide access to online learning courses;
- To handle payments;
- To send out offers, news articles and campaigns via email, app, and post;
- To perform analyses for process improvement, development of products and services, and market research;
- To support communication and campaigns via social media;
- To handle complaints and requests for information.

Personal Data processed by us
FranklinCovey processes your Personal Data because you use our services and/or because you provide this information to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the Personal Data that we process:

Sharing Personal Data with third parties
FranklinCovey will not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for: the performance of our agreement with you or your organization, or to comply with a legal obligation. We will enter into a processor’s agreement with companies that process your data on our instruction to safeguard the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. FranklinCovey remains responsible for these processing operations.
Personal Data is provided to supervisory authorities, tax authorities, and investigative authorities only if FranklinCovey Benelux is required by law to do so. Personal Data can also be transferred to recipients in countries outside the European Economic Area in this context. In such cases FranklinCovey Benelux will take the measures that are reasonably necessary to guarantee that your data are protected as far as possible.
Security of Personal Data
FranklinCovey Benelux believes the proper security of Personal Data is very important. FranklinCovey Benelux has therefore taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your Personal Data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. For instance, FranklinCovey Benelux always uses a secure (SSL) connection during the registration process and the sending of contact forms.
Access to and amendment of Personal Data
If you want to know what Personal Data FranklinCovey Benelux collects and uses in relation to you, you can ask FranklinCovey Benelux to send you an overview of these data. In that case, FranklinCovey Benelux will however ask that you send a copy of your identification card. You can submit a request to access data to the FranklinCovey Benelux Client Engagement Coordinator. FranklinCovey Benelux will respond in writing to your request via the email address specified within four (4) weeks. If, based on the overview, you want to have Personal Data corrected, supplemented, deleted, and/or blocked, you can submit a new request for this. FranklinCovey Benelux will also respond to this request within four (4) weeks.

It goes without saying that we want to safeguard your privacy and optimize the user-friendliness of your visit to the FC Website. What are cookies?

FranklinCovey Benelux uses different types of cookies. An explanation of the cookies we use and for what purposes we use these is provided below.
Functional or necessary cookies
These cookies help the FC Website function properly. These anonymous cookies ensure, among other things, that:
- Your preferences, such as language, location, and desired number of search results to display, are saved. These cookies also remember the items you place in your shopping basket and information you enter in forms and order forms, for example;
- Your browser settings are saved so that you can view the FC Website optimally on your screen;

Advertising cookies
FranklinCovey Benelux uses these cookies to keep track of how many advertisements and which advertisements you have seen from FranklinCovey Benelux and/or from third parties that are shown via the FC Website.
FranklinCovey Benelux uses so-called re-targeting or re-marketing technologies on the FC Website. This allows us to make you interesting and personalized offers. To be able to do this, FranklinCovey Benelux places cookies that make it possible to monitor your browsing behavior on the FC Website and chart out a profile of your browsing behavior. Based on this profile, FranklinCovey Benelux can show you personalized advertisements on third-party websites. Readout of information without cookies

Browser settings and deleting cookies
If you do not want websites to be able to save cookies to your computer, you can adjust your browser settings accordingly. In that case, you will receive a warning before cookies are placed. You can also adjust your settings so that your browser refuses all cookies or only third-party cookies. You can also delete cookies that have already been placed. You can furthermore withdraw at any time the consent you gave FranklinCovey Benelux for placing and reading out cookies by adjusting your browser settings accordingly so that your browser does not accept cookies and/or all cookies already placed in your browser are deleted. This can result in certain parts of the FC Website no longer working or no longer working properly, however.
How you can adjust your browser settings varies from browser to browser. This is explained step by step below:
Deleting cookies in Internet Explorer
Go to the menu Extra > Internet options > General. Under Browsing History, click on Delete. You may not want to delete everything. Make sure that Cookies is ticked in any event and click on Delete.
Deleting cookies in Firefox
Go to Extra > Options > Privacy. Click on Clear your recent history. You can indicate under Details exactly what you wish to erase. In any case, click on Cookies. You can also indicate how old the cookies should be. Select ‘Everything’ here.
Deleting cookies in Chrome
Click on the icon with 3 dashes at the top right. Click on More tools > Clear browsing data. Make sure that ‘Delete cookies and other site and plug-in data’ is ticked. You can also indicate how old the cookies should be. Select ‘Everything’ here.
Deleting cookies in Safari
Click on the radar icon at the top right. Click on Preferences, go to ‘Privacy’ and click on ‘Remove All Website Data’. You can also click on ‘Details’ and delete selected data.
